ArmInfo.The protective means made in Lithuania necessary for combating COVID-19 arrived yesterday in Armenia on a flight operated by the Lithuanian air force.
This is humanitarian aid, which by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on April 22, is intended for the Eastern Partnership countries in response to requests from these states for assistance in combating COVID-19. In addition to Armenia, yesterday humanitarian aid was also delivered to Moldova and Georgia, and on May 13 humanitarian aid was also sent to Ukraine. In the amount of over 100 thousand euros, 52.6 thousand face shields manufactured in Lithuania were purchased from Baltic Digital Printing CJSC and Medienos era CJSC. 10,500 face shields and 0.75 tons of medical facilities were provided to Armenia. The cargo was transferred to the Ministry of Health of Armenia for further distribution.
