ArmInfo. On May 13, in anticipation of the process of forming the newly elected parliament, the Free Homeland bloc holds an extraordinary extended meeting. Arayik Harutyunyan, who won the presidential election in Artsakh, announced this on his Facebook page.
Harutyunyan informed that over 250 delegates are taking part in the meeting, who through discussions and secret ballot will decide which of the MPs of the bloc will be nominated for the presidency of the National Assembly and the heads of the standing parliamentary committees. The outcome of the discussions will be announced at the end of the meeting.
To recall, Arayik Harutyunyan won a landslide victory on the second round of the presidential election held on April 14. His rival was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Artsakh Republic Masis Mayilyan.
