ArmInfo. Media reports that Director of the National Security Service of Armenia, Eduard Martirosyan, as well as a number of employees of the body, have resigned, are not true. ArmInfo was informed about this in the press service of the NSS of Armenia.
The press center also said that the National Security Service continues its work as usual. It should be noted that today some media reported that due to the appointment of Argishti Kyaramyan to the post of deputy head of the NSS of Armenia, a riot has ripened in the body. And supposedly a number of employees, including the head of the NSS, filed a resignation.
To recall, on May 4, Kyaramyan was relieved of his post as acting Head of the State Control Service and appointed Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee. The next day, he was dismissed from this post and transferred to the NSS as the deputy director of the Service. Mane Gevrogyan, spokeswoman for the Prime Minister, noted that the appointment of Kyaramyan was a political decision.
