ArmInfo. Armenian citizens should be involved in the process of compliance with restrictions in the framework of the fight against coronavirus infection. Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Commandant Tirgran Avinyan announced during the meeting with the participation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Minister of Healthcare Arsen Torosyan. He noted that, of course, the authorities monitor compliance with all the rules, but citizens can play a significant role in this process.
<If, for example, in a cafe, citizens see that the cafe's employees don't have gloves and masks, you should signal this violation, and this cafe should not be visited. That is, consumer control is very important>, said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in turn. He also said that in the coming days a large production of masks will be opened in Tavush region and there will be no problems with them. Tigran Avinyan, in turn, emphasized that the authorities will pay special attention to those citizens who are on self-isolation. <Using our geolocation devices, as well as employees who visit quarantined people, we will ensure that this regime is respected. First of all, of course, all this will concern persons who interacted with coronavirus infected >, Avinyan emphasized.
The Commandant also noted that the commandant's office, together with the Ministry of Health and the Armenian Police, will tighten measures for quarantined individuals. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, such measures will also help relieve hotels. In turn, the Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan did not rule out the possibility that people with mild symptoms would be discharged from hospitals. <One of our fellow citizens was treated at home, lived with his whole family in a two-room apartment, but did not infect anyone, as he carefully followed all safety precautions. However, there have also been cases when a patient with mild symptoms infected another, which, alas, led to death. I myself don't visit my grandparents, as I am a potential threat to them>, - concluded Torosyan.
