ArmInfo. We are announcing a new stage in the fight against coronavirus infection, particularly a shift to remote work. The Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced this during the meeting with the participation of the Commandant, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan and Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan.
Pashinyan said that the main reason he took such a step is the fact that until March-April of next year new cases of coronavirus are possible, and this will continue until the vaccine is invented. <Our task is to provide conditions for coexistence with coronavirus.
Let's agree, it's impossible to be locked up for a whole year. If we are sure that in a month, with very severe restrictions, we would defeat the coronavirus, we could take this step, however, this is impossible>, the prime minister said.
Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Commandant Tigran Avinyan noted that on May 4, the scope of activity of the manufacturing industry, some wholesale and retail enterprises with the exception of large shopping centers and markets will open. <The exception is 10-12 sectors on which restrictions will be imposed. The education and transport sectors, which are the most dangerous from the point of view of the spread of infection, will be closed. We hope that after the development of certain measures, we will be able to establish activities in the field of transport>, Avinyan concluded.
