She emphasized that not a single representative of the RA Ministry of Defense, including a member of the Military Police, was involved in the above incident.
It should be noted that yesterday media reported a shootout in the city of Gavar, Gegharkunik region of Armenia, which killed two people and 4 more wounded were taken to hospital. It was reported that one of the dead was from the Noratus community, nicknamed "The Bear from Noratus," the second was a military police investigator. Later, the media reported that the relatives of the murdered investigator, breaking through the police cordon, broke into the Gavar Medical Center, where they dealt with two wounded, cut their throats, and then freely left the hospital. It was noted that at the moment when all that happened, the head of the RA Police was in the hospital. Later, the governor of the Gegharkunik region said that 500 people attacked the hospital, and they inflicted property damage on the hospital. It was also reported that as a result of the shootout, investigator Zohrab Paronikyan and his relative born in 1989 was killed.
Meanwhile, according to the report of the Police of Armenia spread today, operational investigative groups are holding events on the fact of the incident that occurred on April 28 at 5:40pm in the city of Gavar, and as a result of which two were killed and several people wounded. The department also assured that the necessary measures are being taken to clarify all the circumstances of the incident, and a criminal case has already been instituted. It is also noted that no one was killed in the medical center of Gavar, and the police chief at the time of the incident in the medical center was at the scene of the shootout.
