ArmInfo. <The time has come to recognize that we must live in the presence of coronavirus for at least a year>, - said at a meeting on anti-crisis policies to neutralize the effects of coronavirus, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
According to him, given by the press service of the government, since the start of the coronavirus crisis, both in many countries of the world and in the Republic of Armenia, everyone thought that specific problems could be quickly and quickly solved, because they hoped that coronavirus was short term problem. However, the time has come to realize that the coronavirus will accompany the citizens of Armenia for at least one year. <This means that we need to change our tactical and short-term ideas to long-term and strategic. The first step is to be able to adapt your society to life under the conditions of a coronavirus, to the development and rational use of time, of course, realizing that this will bring certain risks.
In order to live and work normally under these conditions or in accordance with new circumstances, we must be able to develop new rules of behavior, acquire new behavioral reflexes in everyday life, in economic activity. This is probably the worst problem. Our strategy and tactics are as follows: in the near future, before the end of the state of emergency, we must open all areas of economic activity, but at the same time, the Ministry of Health and the government must determine the minimum security rules.
This will not be easy to do, because if this process does not occur with a very high level of self-awareness and discipline, this can lead to new epidemics. Our task is to ensure that new outbreaks of the epidemic do not force us to return to the area of severe restrictions, because, firstly, it will be more difficult to do, and secondly, it will be more stressful and painful for the economy and society. We decided that we should implement anti-crisis packages and activities worth 150 billion drams, of which 25 billion drams should be social, 25 billion drams for economic assistance, 80 billion drams should be our strategic contribution to economic transformation and 20 billion drams of reserve money for use at the right time and in the right direction>, the head of the Armenian government said.
