ArmInfo.The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, in cooperation with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), is launching a grant program to provide social and psychological assistance to schoolchildren, teachers and parents in connection with distance education in a state of emergency due to the spread of coronavirus in the country.
According to the press service of the department, through specialized public organizations, within the framework of the grant program, the main psychological problems of schoolchildren, teachers and parents in the context of distance education will be identified. It is reported that an effective toolkit and methodology will be created to assist. In particular, it is envisaged to launch a hotline, create an online platform to answer questions from the beneficiaries of the program. Priority will also be given to increasing the involvement in the distance learning process of students and their parents, who need special educational conditions.
<This program will also help strengthen psychological services in the school system, provide long-term assistance to schoolchildren, teachers and parents, maintain a rhythm in the organization of education and reduce stress due to the state of emergency in the country, "the source said. The Asian Development Bank is one of the main partners in the field of education in Armenia and provides support to priority sectors on the government agenda.
