ArmInfo. After the coronavirus pandemic, we will need to build our future based on self-confidence. Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan stated this on April 24, speaking online within the framework of the <INSTALIVE> project of the Children of Armenia charity foundation.
The Minister noted that the global pandemic has demonstrated the vulnerability of the world, since the new virus does not know geographical boundaries. Changes in the world after overcoming the current situation will, in his words, manifest themselves in different ways, but each person should rely on his potential and self-confidence, while continuing to work and building his future. "You need to be confident in yourself and be prepared to bring changes in your life in line with new challenges," he said.
Mnatsakanyan emphasized that Armenia is taking active steps in the fight against coronavirus, including in cooperation with international partners and the Diaspora. In particular, 14 anti-crisis programs were developed, while steps to mitigate the socio-economic consequences of the coronavirus will continue. Speaking about the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister pointed out that in particular it is aimed at the return of Armenian citizens to their homeland, which is a complex process taking into account current realities. According to him, from March 1, about 63 thousand citizens returned to Armenia, and if you count from March 14, when, in fact, the situation with the coronavirus escalated, their number was 22- 23 thousand. <This is an extremely complicated process, and here active cooperation at the international level is ongoing>, the Foreign Minister emphasized.
