
ArmInfo. On April 14, headed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, a regular meeting was held on measures to mitigate the socio- economic situation in connection with coronavirus.
According to the programs that are being implemented, the following indicators are currently recorded: 1st event -264 satisfied applications, the amount of support provided - 19.5 billion drams; 2nd event - 3887 satisfied applications, 5.2 billion drams; 3rd event - 430 satisfied applications, 4.8 billion drams; 5th event - 11,296 beneficiaries, 1.8 billion drams; 8th event - 86,522 beneficiaries, 6 billion drams; 9th event - 72,403 beneficiaries, 1.9 billion drams; 10th event - 2365 beneficiaries, 141.7 million drams. It was noted that the process of identifying and providing assistance to the beneficiaries of these programs was ongoing. The 13th and 14th events are at the implementation stage, the stipulated financial assistance will be provided during the next week. The 4th, 6th, 7th, 11th and 12th programs were completed, the indicators are as follows: 4th event - 2093 beneficiaries, support volume - 209.3 mln drams; 6th event - 6723 beneficiaries, 457 million drams; 7th event - 8751 beneficiaries, 875 million drams; 11th event - 450 827 beneficiaries, 786 mln drams; The 12th event - 486,434 beneficiaries, 1.8 billion drams.
During the meeting, ideas were presented on expanding the range of social targeted assistance. A number of proposals were discussed, including regarding the criteria and categories for identifying vulnerable groups of beneficiaries. The Prime Minister instructed, following the results of the discussion, to bring ideas into a design form and submit them for approval.
During the exchange of views, long-term plans also became a subject of discussion. The prospects, opportunities and industry priorities of the socio-economic development of Armenia were touched upon within the framework of the logic of the processes taking place in the world. In this context, issues related to the sphere of social and economic assistance were raised.
