For the first time in Armenia a woman was appointed as head of  forestry 

ArmInfo. For the first time in Armenia, a woman was appointed as the head of forestry. Acting director of "Chambarak" forestry of "Hayantar" SNCO became Irina   Hovhannisyan.  

Irina Hovhannisyan graduated from Galik University in 2009, receiving  the qualification of economist-manager. In 2018, she passed  retraining courses at the American University of Armenia, as part of  an educational program on public policy and advocacy; also  participated in a number of international retraining programs,  including in the UK and Albania. Since 2014, she is chair of the  Astghatsolk public organization, in 2011-2014 she led the team of the  regional development program of Chambarak of the international  organization of  World Vision.
