According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies, the earthquake was recorded at 10:08am local time (06:08 GMT) 32 km southeast of the city of Telavi. The focus lay at a depth of 10 km, the magnitude was 4.
Tremors at the epicenter were 5-6 points. An earthquake of 3 points was felt in the Armenian village of Shnogh and the city of Alaverdi, where the strength of the shocks was 2-3 points.
