ArmInfo.The Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) continues to provide assistance to the specially protected natural territories of Armenia.
CNF has implemented its first funding transfers to Armenia's specially protected natural areas in 2020. In total, more than 285 thousand euros were allocated, and this assistance was addressed to four SNCOs with which CNF has been working for many years. So, of the specified amount, 103 thousand euros were allocated to the Zangezur biosphere complex, about 93 thousand euros to the Khosrov Forest State Reserve, 78 thousand euros to the Dilijan National Park, 10 thousand euros to the Arpi Lake National Park >.
CNF continues to provide assistance to the specially protected territories of Armenia to increase the effectiveness of the management of specially protected territories, to ensure the implementation of work aimed at preserving the unique biodiversity of the republic.
To note, over 10 years of activity in Armenia, the Caucasus Nature Fund has allocated more than 4.5 million euros for the needs of the specially protected natural territories of the republic.
