Lilit Makunts: I hope that in the near future all the culprits in the  incident with the leak of video frames with the participation of the  Prime Minister will be revealed

ArmInfo.The fact connected with the leak of video frames on the preparation by the Prime Minister for the official appeal to the country's population on the Public  Armenian TV channel is not acceptable for the My Step parliamentary  faction. This was announced at a briefing in parliament on April 20  by the head of the faction Lilit Makunts.

Makunts emphasized that the faction considers this incident as a  global problem related to information security. <The Prime Minister  did not know that at that moment he was already being recorded and  could say a phrase that was not intended for a wide audience. We hope  that in the near future all the perpetrators of the incident will be  identified>, the MP said.

The head of the faction also emphasized that those responsible should  be held accountable. In the event that in a fairly short time all the  culprits are not identified, the "My Step" faction will appeal to the  Council of the Commission on Television and Radio with the  requirement not only to make explanations, but also to take  measures>, Makunts said.

As to whether the press secretary of the Prime Minister of Armenia  bears responsibility for everything that happened, the MP stated that  in her opinion the latter has no fault. <The fact is that her duties  do not include knowledge of the technical details of the broadcast>,  the MP noted.

It should be noted that on April 17, the Prime Minister of Armenia  Nikol Pashinyan delivered a message to the citizens of the country on  the air of the public First Channel of Armenian television. However,  after some time, shots appeared on the Internet from the preparation  of the Prime Minister for the live broadcast.  The footage shows how  Pashinyan drinks water and coughed a couple of times before reading  the text.  These frames became the reason for the gloating video  editing. So, for example, each cough of Pashinyan was accompanied by  the discovery of an ignorant "director" - showing molecules of  coronavirus. Mane Gevorgyan, recently appointed spokeswoman for the  Prime Minister, accused the Public Television of Armenia of this  blunder.
