Lawyers Group: Last week, Serzh Sargsyan was interrogated as a  witness in the NSS of Armenia

ArmInfo. Lawyers for the third  president of Armenia report that last week Serzh Sargsyan was  interrogated as a witness in the NSS.

In a statement, in particular, it is noted: <We inform that the  information circulated in the media that a new criminal case has been  launched against the third president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan is  misinformation>.  The group of lawyers also emphasizes that last week  Sargsyan was interrogated as a witness in the NSS, as part of a case  that is not related to the issue of receiving a bribe. <We urge the  media to refrain from spreading misinformation>, the statement  emphasizes. It should be noted that Serzh Sargsyan is accused of  organizing embezzlement on an especially large scale - about 500  million drams. We are talking about the state program approved in  2013 by the Government on the more affordable acquisition of diesel  fuel for the implementation of spring agricultural work. According to  the investigation, exceeding official powers, Sargsyan facilitated  the purchase of diesel fuel from Flash Ltd at higher prices.
