ArmInfo. The Artsakh Central Election Commission reports that as of 2:00pm, 29,443 voters, that is 28.4%, participated in the second round of the NKR Presidential election.
To note, the second round of the presidential election is being held in Artsakh on April 14. Earlier on March 31, presidential and parliamentary elections were held in Artsakh. Then none of the presidential candidates overcame the necessary threshold, as a result of which a second round was appointed. Former NKR Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, who in the first round garnered most of the votes - 49,26% and Foreign Minister Masis Mayilyan - garnered 26,4% of votes, will compete for the presidency. At the same time, five parties entered the new parliament of Nagorno-Karabakh. The Free Homeland / United Civil Alliance bloc led by ex-Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, won the majority of votes (40.4%), also, United Homeland party - 23.63%, Justice Party of Artsakh -7.9 %, ARF - 6.4%, and Democratic Party of Artsakh -5.81%.
