ArmInfo. Self-isolated citizens will not be able to deceive a special geolocation program. As the adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan - Bagrat Badalyan said at a press conference on April 8, in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, a special software was developed, thanks to which it is possible to establish the circle of contacts of patients with COVID-19 by analyzing phone calls.
The data obtained will be compared with the results of a patient survey conducted by health workers. To recall, previously it was reported that some patients with coronavirus intentionally hide information about contacting persons. Thus, the system will help fill this gap. Citizens from the patient's circle of contacts will be self-isolated, after which they will have to periodically provide information about their current state of health. In addition, if necessary, they will be provided with food. If the answers about health indicate the presence of disturbing symptoms, then the paramedics will contact the person and conduct a remote re-interview.
Upon confirmation of the symptoms, the Ministry of Health will be notified of this for the coronavirus test. Badalyan informed that the above system allows you to set the geolocation of a self-isolated citizen by means of short messages, for which you will need to follow a special link, as well as send your selfie. It is impossible to deceive the system, even if a specific person leaves the smartphone at home: the fact is that the frequency of messages is regulated by the principle of randomness, which means that no one can know in advance when the next message will arrive exactly. In this case, a selfie is taken in order to prove that a specific person answered the message, and not, for example, his loved one. If the system detects the absence of a person from the place of self-isolation, then this message will be automatically sent to the Police. Violators of the regime will be subjected to administrative responsibility, and in case of recurrence of incidents - forcibly sent to the isolation zone. The system was developed by the Armenian programmer on a voluntary and free basis, and began its work in full from April 7. Badalyan noted that upon completion of the state of emergency, all data collected by the system, as well as servers, will be destroyed in accordance with the regulations, and representatives of parliamentary factions can attend this process if they wish. It is noteworthy that all mobile operators operating in the country agreed to provide assistance to self-isolated citizens through free Internet for the entire quarantine period.
