ArmInfo.I learned from the media that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed my resignation letter, which I submitted last Saturday.  Hakob Chagharyan , ex-adviser to  the Prime Minister of Armenia on aviation issues, wrote about this on  his Facebook page.  In particular, he emphasized that he did not know  why the prime minister has not noted that   Chagharyan resigned on  his own initiative.

<The reason for my resignation was a destructive and anti-state  approach to civil aviation. Last week, on April 4, I presented a  report to the Prime Minister, and once again the real situation in  civil aviation, without lying and embellishing the facts. Moreover, I  once again explained the real reasons why a similar situation has  developed in civil aviation and noted how to find a way out of it. I  suggested the Prime Minister to give the opportunity to work in this  area to really trained and knowledgeable personnel in this area.  Otherwise, I resign.

This was my decision, I refuse to be among the advisers whose advice  does not reach the destination. The other day I will convene a press  conference and present all the details>,   Chagharyan  concluded. 

It should be noted that this morning, by the decision of Prime  Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Hakob Chagharyan  was relieved  of his post as adviser to the head of government on aviation issues.

It should be noted that Hakob Chagharyan is a professional pilot who  has long been working in the field of civil aviation. His retirement  can be attributed to recent problems in the field of civil aviation,  namely, the fact that the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) gave  an unsatisfactory assessment of the work of the General Directorate  of Civil Aviation and forbade the flights of Armenian airlines to  Europe . The State Administration of Civil Aviation recognizes that  the Office actually has serious problems, which were repeatedly  mentioned, and which did not arise yesterday, and it takes time to  completely modernize the structure
