ArmInfo.Second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan was discharged from the Erebuni medical center. Lawyers of Kocharyan reported this.
According to the source, he was transported to Yerevan-Kentron Penitentiary Institution. <Doctors noted the positive dynamics in the state of health of the second president of Armenia, but emphasized that Kocharyan needs constant medical supervision and continued treatment," the statement said.
Kocharian's lawyers are discussing the feasibility of transferring the second president of Armenia to the penitentiary institution, given the state of his health, because cases of infection with coronavirus were recorded in the penal system. In connection with the above facts, Kocharyan's lawyers believe that the condition of their client does not allow him to be kept in a pre-trial detention center until the penitentiary system passes the coronavirus test.
It should be noted that on the evening of March 7, the second president of Armenia was hospitalized with complaints of poor health and increased pressure. Initially, he was delivered to the Nairi Medical Center, but was subsequently transferred to the Erebuni Medical Center, where, as part of the relevant state program, specialized treatment for stroke risk can be obtained.
To recall, Robert Kocharyan was charged with overthrowing the Constitutional system in the framework of the events of March 1, 2008.
