ArmInfo. Echmiadzin City Hall issued a statement stating that some citizens are trying to take advantage of the situation related to the emergency and resort to illegal actions. This was reported by the press service of the city hall.
According to the source, the statement, in particular, notes: <Some citizens, ignoring the law, as well as measures taken by the government to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, are engaged in illegal construction, in the hope that the regional administration will not pay attention to it. Thus, they violate the law and the state of emergency, endangering the health of other citizens.
The mayor's office of Echmiadzin warns that we monitor compliance with the state of emergency and that all persons who try to violate it will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
The regional administration of Echmiadzin also instructed the staff of the city planning committee to ensure that no one in the conditions of an emergency could engage in illegal construction or seizure of land. Not a single illegal act will elude our attention. We urge everyone not to commit illegal actions, endangering your life and the lives of your relatives.>
It should be noted that in connection with the spread of coronavirus infection in Armenia, an emergency regime was introduced from March 16 to April 14.
