An 89-year-old patient died of coronavirus in the Nork Infectious Diseases Hospital
ArmInfo. In the Nork Infectious Diseases Hospital, a death from a coronavirus was recorded. The press secretary of the Ministry of Health Alina Nikoghosyan informed
about this on her Facebook page.
She noted that in addition to the coronavirus, a 89-year-old patient
had bilateral infiltrative pneumonia. Moreover, the citizen had
chronic diseases, including arterial hypertension and diabetes
mellitus. According to Nikoghosyan, because of the patient's age and
chronic diseases, the doctors failed to save his life.
It should be noted that in Armenia four people died from the
coronavirus. As of April 1, the total number of infected in Armenia
reached 571. From March 16 to April 14, a state of emergency was
introduced in Armenia.
