According to the source, the leader of the Free Homeland party Araik Harutyunyan scored 31 thousand out of 76.5 thousand votes. In second place was Artsakh Foreign Minister Masis Mayilyan, who gained 16.5 thousand votes, and Vitaliy Balasanyan followed him with 9.5 thousand votes.
Since none of the candidates crossed the threshold of 50% of the vote, a second round is likely to be appointed in Artsakh.
About 76.5 thousand people voted in the elections, turnout was 72.7%, the CEC notes. It should be noted that 14 candidates were nominated for the post of president in Artsakh.
