ArmInfo. On the afternoon of March 27, RA Minister of Healthcare Arsen Torosyan began regular visits to the quarantine zones in connection with the situation with coronavirus. The first "destinations" were the Nairi Recreation Center the Recreation Center of the Union of Writers of Armenia and the Sports Complex, located in Tsaghkadzor.
In total, as the Minister informed, six quarantine zones were allocated in the Kotayk region. In the region, the coordinator of work on the isolation of citizens who have been in contact with patients with coronavirus is David Karapetyan, Director of the Center for Mental Health of Sevan. As was reported to the Minister, all isolated citizens are provided with three meals a day thanks to the help of benefactors and partners. In addition, they are provided with fruits, sweets and natural juices. All citizens are under 24-hour supervision by medical staff and volunteers; they are given the necessary medical advice, during the day at least twice the temperature is measured. Torosyan was also informed that in the Recreation Center of the Union of Writers of Armenia among the isolated there are several pregnant women who are provided with access to relevant medical examinations.
Torosyan expressed special thanks to the philanthropists, as well as to the management of the quarantined zones for their assistance. He recalled that citizens spend 14 days in isolation, and if health problems are detected, they are hospitalized.
