ArmInfo. It is very important that our citizens comply with the new restrictions that have been introduced in the country in connection with the spread of coronavirus infection. But in connection with them I have a number of questions that are not answered. This was announced on March 25 in an interview with reporters by the head of the Enlightened Armenia faction Edmond Marukyan.
He emphasized that people have accumulated questions that are not given clear answers. <So, for example, many are interested in the question: will people who are not able to repay the loan get into the "black lists"? Is there a way to pay loans a little later, when the economy begins to recover? Moreover, it is not clear how the issue of the salaries of people who receive daily wages will be resolved. In particular, hotel employees, factory workers, transport drivers, etc. What will happen to them? Does the state intend to resolve this issue>, Marukyan noted.
Asked by journalists whether the government's initiative to send 150 billion drams to a number of organizations is a solution, the deputy said: "In no country in the world there are situations when they are offered to stay at home and in no way solve their problems. In addition, people will soon also have problems paying utility bills. Of the corresponding companies, citizens were notified that they would not turn off the light and gas, but there was no news from Veolia Dzhur (water utility operator). But this issue must be resolved>.
Marukyan said that today the Central Bank has 377 billion drams that taxpayers of Armenia have paid. <This is the money of our people. And now, the state should help at least the most vulnerable sectors of society who receive daily wages. But nothing is said about it, the government only constantly says that one should not leave the house. Grandparents are encouraged to make purchases from 10:00 to 12:00, but no one is interested in whether they have money. They should be helped, this is the only solution to the issue>, the deputy concluded.
