ArmInfo. The Artsakh Defense Army refutes another Azerbaijani misinformation.
So, the NKR JSC's statement received in ArmInfo, in particular, states: "The information circulated in the Azerbaijani electronic media that allegedly the advanced units of Artsakh JSC had resorted to provocation in the direction of Goranboy and left one soldier in the neutral zone is another misinformation.
The advanced units of NKR JSC comply with the ceasefire. Moreover, on the contact line of the Karabakh- Azerbaijani forces, the situation remains relatively stable. In this regard, we urge the Azerbaijani side to refrain from futile tactics to artificially aggravate the situation and not to go on further escalation."
Earlier, information appeared in the Azerbaijani media that allegedly the Armenian units, having grossly violated the ceasefire in the Goranboy direction, made an attempt to provoke. "As a result of repelling the attack, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces destroyed one enemy serviceman. His body has been lying on neutral territory for about a day. Currently, the shootout is ongoing, but the situation is under the control of the Azerbaijan Army," the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported.
We also note that the office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, in connection with the threat of the spread of the coronavirus epidemic, and restrictions imposed by countries on movement, has suspended the monitoring of the front line in the Karabakh conflict zone. In this regard, a statement was also made by the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, which called on the parties to the conflict to strictly observe the ceasefire in the current circumstances.
