ArmInfo.Hayk Alumyan, the lawyer of the second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, is worried that his client may become infected with a coronavirus infection. Alumyan stated this at a March 24 press conference.
The lawyer stated that Robert Kocharyan is now in the hospital. "A penitentiary service officer is always in the Kocharian's ward. Their attitude is good, but they often change, and each of them can be a carrier of a coronavirus infection. As he already has health problems, it's very dangerous," he stressed. Alumyan said that data should be provided on how many employees and prisoners at the penitentiary institution passed the coronavirus test, and then the situation will become clear. It should be noted that on the evening of March 7, the second president of Armenia was hospitalized with complaints of poor health and increased pressure. Initially, he was delivered to the Nairi Medical Center, but was subsequently transferred to the Erebouni Medical Center, where, as part of the relevant state program, specialized treatment for stroke risk can be obtained.
To recall, Robert Kocharyan was charged with overthrowing the Constitutional system in the framework of the events of March
