ArmInfo. Abuses were detected in the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, abuses were found during the purchase of computer equipment and network servers. In particular, in December 2019, the corresponding contracts for the supply of goods worth 29.940.000 drams and 9.740.000 drams were concluded with LLC, a recognized winner in tenders for the purchase of 100 computer devices and two network servers for the needs of the Ministry.
The responsible person of the ministry gave positive conclusions regarding the conformity of the actually purchased goods with the technical specifications stipulated by the contract, and the delivery and acceptance certificates and protocols were drawn up.
Meanwhile, in reality, servers of other models were purchased, and their cost was lower than the value stipulated by the contracts. As a result, the rights and legitimate interests of the state were significantly damaged in the amount of 9.740.000 drams. A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of part 1 of article 308 and part 1 of article 314 of the RA Criminal Code; criminal case sent to the Investigative Committee.
