ArmInfo. The building of the Anti-Corruption Committee and the Anti-Corruption Court will be built in the Silikyan district in the Armenian capital. At the March 19 meeting, the Government of Armenia adopted a decision.
According to RA Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan, it is envisaged, in particular, to transfer to the Ministry of Justice the areas near the Spandaryan station, which were on the balance of the capital's community. Previously, it was planned to build a new penal institution on these squares, which was designed to replace the Nubarashen Penitentiary Institution and the Prisoner Hospital. However, after numerous discussions, it was decided to build a building on these areas, which will house the Anti- corruption Committee and the anti-corruption court. As for the criminal correctional institutions Nubarashen and the Hospital for Convicts, then, as the Minister noted, studies are currently being conducted in the city of Abovyan and the Yerevan community of Erebuni. The Justice Ministry is more inclined towards the administrative district of Erebuni, in which there are great opportunities. At the same time, the international experience will be taken into account when erecting new buildings of the Institute.
