ArmInfo.From today, some exceptions on the exchange of goods are introduced between Armenia and Iran, which are of economic importance for the two countries.   This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Economy of  Armenia, submitted to ArmInfo.

"In the context of the transportation of additional humanitarian  goods and the need to determine the procedure for their  transportation, changes were made to the government decision of  February 24, 2020, according to which the circulation of certain  types of raw materials between the Republic of Armenia and the  Islamic Republic of Iran is allowed. Transportation will be carried  out in the territory between the administrative building the Meghri  checkpoint and the bridge through the transshipment of goods under  the supervision of employees of the State Revenue Committee of the  RA, the Ministry of Health National Security Services, "the Ministry  informed, adding that enterprises operating on these product codes  should apply to the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of  Armenia, which, with the consent of the Ministry of Economy, permits  the transportation of goods.

The Ministry also reminded that transportation of some medical goods  was previously allowed.  The Ministry of Economy also presented a  list of goods that were subject to exceptions and allowed for  transportation: Seawater chloride 2501; Sulfur not sublimated 2503;  Cement clinker 252310; Petroleum coke, petroleum bitumen and other  residues obtained from the processing of oil or petroleum products  2713; Liquid chlorine 2801; Sulfur - sublimated or sedimentary,  colloidal sulfur 2802; Chlorosulfonic acid 2806; Sulfuric acid, oleum  2807; Nitric acid, sulfuric acid 2808; Sodium hydroxide (caustic  soda), Potassium hydroxide (hot potassium), sodium or potassium  peroxide, sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) 2815; Chlorite,  hypochlorite, bromite 2828; Sulfites, thiosulfates. 2832; Carbonates,  peroxocarbons 2836; Carbides, whether or not chemically defined,  2849; Derivatives of hydrocarbons 2904; Polycarbonates 2917; Ammonium  nitrate, including in aqueous solution 3102 30; Plastics and plastic  products from the group 3901 to 3907.

It should be noted that on February 23, Armenia closed air and land  communications with Iran. The exception was cargo transportation,  which is carried out with restrictions.
