ArmInfo. On March 17, under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, the first meeting of the commandant's office of the state of emergency was held.
As the press service of the Government of Armenia reports, opening the meeting, Tigran Avinyan pointed out the importance of resolving a number of procedural issues.
He emphasized the need for a more flexible approach to all procedures. "I see that there are some problems, and even in emergencies we have some formalization and delays in making decisions. I must ask our lawyers to offer a slightly more specific and flexible system, which we will follow, because I got the impression that we have less flexibility in teh state of emergency than before. And I must ask you to keep this issue in the center of your attention, "said the Deputy Prime Minister.
According to him, some other important issues related to restrictions on public events throughout the Republic of Armenia and how to exercise control over them will be discussed in the future. "We talked about this topic with Mr. Sarkissian last night, and we have an agreement on what to do. I think that all restrictive measures should be accompanied by clear guidelines so that each of officials knows what to do and in what sequence he / she should do, and everything should be very clear. We will discuss the launch of a single hotline. Again, we have all the potential questions and answers that can be addressed to the hotline. And these questions need to be given a clear answer. We have financial issues for discussion, communication methods, restrictions for the media, "said the Deputy Prime Minister.
Then the Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia Arsen Torosyan presented the situation in the republic on the fight against the spread of coronavirus. Participants highlighted the importance of civic consciousness and vigilance, and discussed additional security measures.
