According to the press service of the SCR, in particular, we are talking about a higher intensity of disinfecting solutions for the main stations of the country and suburban trains, providing with appropriate masks and preparations for all employees in contact with passengers (cashiers, controllers, station attendants, locomotive crews and others). On behalf of the Director General, from March 17, remote measurements of the temperature of employees will be carried out at the entrances to the administrative building of the SCR, depot, and railway complex enterprises. All employees with identified fever will be sent for a medical examination.

Melnikov noted. He also instructed to exclude mass events on the road and business trips, emphasizing the wider use of communications. In addition, the management team was instructed to develop possible development scenarios on the road associated with the risks of changes in the volume of freight traffic and a decrease in the number of passengers.
To recall, from March 14 SCR stopped international passenger traffic, canceling the Yerevan-Tbilisi- Yerevan passenger train running until March 24th. Currently, passengers who pre-purchased tickets in the prescribed manner are returned the amount of acquisitions.
South Caucasus Railway CJSC is a 100% subsidiary of Russian Railways OJSC and provides concession management of Armenian railways. The railway infrastructure of Armenia was transferred to the concession management of SCR CJSC in accordance with the Concession Agreement signed on February 13, 2008.
