2 new cases of coronavirus infection detected in Armenia

ArmInfo. Two new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Armenia. On March 12, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced  this on live on his Facebook page.

He noted that citizens infected with coronavirus are residents of  Echmiadzin and are associated with 3 cases of infection detected  yesterday. In connection with the situation, the Prime Minister  decided to interrupt his vacation. Moreover, Pashinyan announced the  cancellation of classes in all educational institutions of the  Republic of Armenia, from pre-school to university. "Tomorrow in the  government we will discuss the situation in more detail, give an  assessment, determine the next steps and inform about them," he said.   Calling to remain calm and follow the recommendations of the RA  Ministry of Health, the Prime Minister noted that the responsibility  that lies with each of the citizens is extremely high. In this  regard, he called unacceptable behavior when some citizens try to  hide the presence of high temperature, thereby endangering the health  of their loved ones.  , the head of government said.  However, Pashinyan  said that in connection with new cases of infection with the virus,  the campaign for the constitutional referendum planned for tomorrow  will not take place.

Recall that the total number of confirmed cases of patients with  coronavirus in Armenia reached 6 people.  Of the three new cases, two  are infected - citizens of Armenia (45 and 27 years old), and one  more - a citizen of Italy (51 years old) working in our country. This  is a woman working in Etchmiadzin. Apparently two infected. It was in  contact with her. All three arrived in Armenia from Italy. Two  citizens have no health complaints, but the third - who is not  informed exactly - has fever and right-sided pneumonia.  Until  yesterday, only one confirmed case of coronavirus infection was  detected in a 29-year-old citizen who arrived from Armenia from Iran  on February 29. The patient feels well.
