ArmInfo. The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan and the Ambassador of Iran to the Republic of Armenia Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri on March 10 discussed the priority issues of the trade and economic agenda.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Tigran Khachatryan congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and expressed hope that the latter's professional experience will contribute to solving issues of bilateral cooperation and the development of economic cooperation. The ambassador thanked the minister for the warm welcome and emphasized that the long-standing historical and cultural friendship and strong relations between the two states will help to jointly overcome any crisis situation.
Within the framework of the instructions given by RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan within the framework of the meeting of the Commission for the Coordination of Activities to Prevent the Spread of the Coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia, a number of issues related to cargo handling and cargo control procedures were discussed. Tigran Khachatryan and the Ambassador of Iran also discussed a number of other issues on the trade and economic agenda. The Minister expressed hope that economic relations between the two friendly countries would soon get back on track.
