According to the source, the purpose of the memorandum is to develop cooperation in the field of vocational and secondary vocational education and training.
Artur Martirosyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, noted that for about three years the department has been effectively cooperating with the foundation, whose programs are in line with the program "Development of the private sector and technical vocational education and training in the South Caucasus" (GIZ - Ed.)
"The memorandum envisages the introduction of new specialties, and, therefore, additional and new resources will be directed to the GIZ sector, ensuring sustainable and continuous cooperation. It is important for us not only to introduce new specialties, but also to build the capacity of people conducting retraining courses, providing education, communications on the labor market, etc., "the deputy minister emphasized.
In turn, the chairman of the foundation's council, Marina Zhamkochyan, emphasized that this program is very flexible, therefore, if interesting ideas appear, new funds will be invested in the program. According to the memorandum, the parties will implement programs aimed at strengthening cooperation between education and the economy, developing and improving the regulatory framework of educational and training programs GIZ.

It should be noted that in April 2017, with the financial support of the German government, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) launched a new phase of the program "Private Sector Development and Technical Vocational Education and Training in the South Caucasus".
