ArmInfo. Law enforcement agencies are being purified of traitors: appropriate measures have been taken against them, including dismissal.
This was reported to journalists on March 5 by the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan, commenting on the recent statement by Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan that there were traitors at the top levels of law enforcement agencies who were guided by completely different considerations in the fight against corruption.
As Grigoryan noted, inside the law enforcement system there are occasionally cases when the corresponding steps proceeding from the demands of the revolution are not taken. According to him, in connection with the identified cases of betrayal, appropriate measures were taken up to the dismissal. Meanwhile, the head of the Security Council refused to give specific names of the dismissed. He also noted that to ensure the legal process over them, it is necessary first of all to ensure the independence of the courts, which is currently lacking. In this regard, he expressed the hope that after the April 5 constitutional referendum, on the agenda of which is the issue of dissolution of the Constitutional Court, this issue will be resolved.
