ArmInfo.Issues of regional peace and security were discussed at the inaugural meeting in Tbilisi between Armenian and Georgian Foreign Ministers Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and David Zalkaliani. As the Armenian Foreign Ministry press service told ArmInfo, in this context Mnatsakanyan presented Armenia's assessments and approaches to a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the current level of the Armenian-Georgian dialogue, based on mutual respect and centuries-old friendship of the two peoples, and praised the cooperation at multilateral platforms, including through the Council of Europe and the Eastern Partnership.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and Armenia addressed urgent global and regional problems and joint actions that are being taken to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
