ArmInfo. In connection with the increasing cases of deaths in the army, large-scale and serious work is being carried out. Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia Gabriel Balayan stated this on February 28 in an interview with reporters.
At the same time, the deputy minister said that he was unlikely to be able to report something new on this issue. Balayan emphasized that the Ministry of Defense considers this problem as a flaw that needs to be addressed.
"We should work on a number of issues, including the conditions of service. But it is very important that there are no distortions, misinterpretations, as this can affect someone's fate," stressed Balayan.
The Deputy Minister of Defense did not comment on the issue of whether dismissals of senior officials in the Armenian Armed Forces would continue.
It should be noted that by decree of the President of Armenia, Chief of the Military Police Arthur Baghdasaryan and Head of the Department of Moral and Psychological Provision of the Armed Forces of Armenia Aleksan Aleksanyan, were dismissed of their posts.
