ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, on the sidelines of the 43rd Session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, held talks with Deputy Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Bagheri Kani.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction the high level of relations between Armenia and Iran, based on centuries-old friendship and mutual respect, and the dynamics of the dialogue that exists in various fields. In the context of the work and agenda of the 43rd Session of the UN Human Rights Council, the parties emphasized the importance of protecting human rights, including the rights of national minorities. Mnatsakanyan expressed support for Bagheri in connection with the coronavirus epidemic in Iran.
