Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia Arsen Torosyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.
According to him, the specialist will check the passengers at the time of boarding, instructing them to use protective means and conveying information to us on the appropriate surveillance measures in Yerevan. In case of the absence of complaints, patients will be under home observation; those having complaints will be tested - and hospitalized upon necessity," the minister wrote.
He also recalled that, in accordance with the government's decision to restrict the Iran-Armenia border crossing, which entered into force yesterday, all trucks arriving from the Meghri checkpoint are accompanied by specialists and police. Iranian citizens are subject to supervision throughout Armenia, including the customs warehouses of the State Revenue Committee. Armenian citizens are controlled by place of residence.
It should be noted that "Armenia Airways" will operate two flights this week, giving citizens of Armenia and Iran the opportunity to return to their homeland.
