ArmInfo. Second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan's son Levon Kocharyan stated that he and his brother were not questioned in the SIS (Special Investigation Service) as witnesses.
Levon Kocharyan stated this on February 25 in an interview with reporters. He noted that he was called to the Special Investigation Service in the case of owner of Channel 5 Armen Tavadyan. "My brother and I did not testify in this case. We have repeatedly expressed our position both in connection with the activities of this structure as a whole, and in relation to its head, in particular. The SIS violates the principle of presumption of innocence", Levon Kocharyan emphasized.
According to him, the interrogation took about 20 minutes.
It should be noted that owner of Channel 5 Armen Tavadyan is suspected of trying to bribe a witness in order to change his testimony in the case of the events of March 1, 2008.
Earlier, the Police posted a video,, according to which, as reported, one of the supporters of former President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan suggested that the witness in the "March 1 case" change his testimony in exchange for money and a good position. Tavadyan himself and his lawyers regard the case as political persecution, as the owner of Channel 5 supported the second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan.
