ArmInfo. On February 18, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar.
According to the press service of the head of government, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Victorin also took part in the meeting.
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the development of Armenia-EU relations and noted that bilateral cooperation is intensive. Nikol Pashinyan noted that Armenia is currently at the stage of holding a constitutional referendum, indicating its goals.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict. The Head of Government noted that Armenia is committed to a peaceful settlement of the issue in the format of the co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group, and shared his observations and views on a negotiated settlement. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of involving Artsakh civil society in measures to strengthen confidence-building measures that will contribute to the formation of a constructive environment and the negotiation process. The Prime Minister of Armenia and the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia exchanged views on other regional issues.
