According to the press service of the Government of Armenia, in her welcoming speech, the co-chair of the foundation Klara Geyvits noted that she was glad to meet with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. "Armenia has always been at the crossroads of different cultures, but has retained its identity. Today, Armenia also plays an important political role. We see that it has good good neighborly relations with Russia, it is a member of the EAEU and at the same time has an agreement with the EU," - said Clara Geyvits.
She noted that Germany has good relations with Armenia and attaches great importance to opportunities for deepening cooperation. Klara Geyvits emphasized that Armenia can become an attractive country for foreign investors. She considered important the plans of the RA government to turn Armenia into an economically more stable state and create new jobs.
"The new government, while committing itself, is facing an old burden. We are convinced that change is not easy, and we can contribute to this," said Clara Geyvits.
She noted that the fund has a representative office in Armenia and provides support to Armenia through various events. Klara Geyvits emphasized that this meeting in the fund is a good opportunity to deepen cooperation.
