ArmInfo.Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote a poem on the upcoming referendum on amendments to the Constitution. Pashinyan wrote about this on his page on Facebook.
The Prime Minister noted that he devotes his poem to the victory of proud citizens of Armenia on April 5. In particular, in the poem Pashinyan calls on citizens to say "Yes" to revolution, justice, freedom, New Armenia and look forward with hope to tomorrow. He emphasized that there is no a point of return, and after the referendum, the people of Armenia, which is his family, will step into a bright future.
At the same time, Hrayr Tovmasyan, who, alas, does not compose poetry in prose, has repeatedly stated that he does not intend to leave the post of judge of the Constitutional Court. Other judges of the Constitutional Court have also not yet taken the opportunity to retire early.
It should be noted that on February 6, the parliament decided on a referendum, at which the citizens of Armenia will decide whether they agree to amend the Constitution of the country. On April 5, a constitutional referendum will be held in Armenia, at which the issue of judges of the Constitutional Court will be decided. Many MPs and human rights activists said that this decision is unconstitutional, since initially the deputies had to send their proposal to the Constitutional Court.
According to the decision adopted on February 11 at the CEC meeting, the campaign will be held from February 17 to April 3. However, the prime minister, contrary to this decision, began campaigning on February 10. In the course of live broadcasts and entries in the social network Facebook, he constantly agitates citizens to vote "for" these Constitutional transformations.
