ArmInfo.On February 10, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan received the head of the Council of Europe representative office in Yerevan Natalia Voutova.
According to the office of the Deputy Prime Minister, Tigran Avinyan noted that the Council of Europe is one of the key partners of Armenia in promoting democracy, human rights and the rule of law. He also touched upon the Armenia-CoE action plan for 2019-2022launched last year, which is an important milestone for the development of relations.
Natalia Voutova informed the Deputy Prime Minister about the main activities of the Council of Europe in Armenia.
The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of digitalization, e-justice, cybersecurity, as well as issues related to artificial intelligence. Tigran Avinyan emphasized that the digitalization process in Armenia is moving forward. He also emphasized the importance of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
