ArmInfo.On February 24, parliamentary hearings on reforms in the field of higher education will be held in Armenia. The decision was made at a meeting of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport.
As head of the Committee Mkhitar Hayrapetyan noted in his speech, the hearings will begin at 11:00 local time. He emphasized that the agreement on holding the hearings was reached with the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan at the end of last year. Currently, a package of legislative reforms in the higher education system is ready, which is aimed at approval by the RA Ministry of Justice. -
In addition, the hearings will also examine Georgia's experience in reforming the country's education system, which the representative parliamentary delegation of Armenia could familiarize itself with.
