Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan wrote about this on his Facebook page, noting that the decision was made taking into account the epidemiological situation caused by the coronavirus.
To recall, the Armenian-Chinese intergovernmental agreement on abolishing the visa regime came into force earlier. Meanwhile, on the eve of the World Health Organization (WHO) recognized the outbreak of coronavirus as an emergency of global importance. This statement was made taking into account the registration of the first case of 2019-nCoV transmission from person to person outside of China. In China, 170 people have been reported as victims of the new virus; the number of patients exceeds 7.7 thousand. Cases of coronavirus are also recorded in some countries of the world, including Japan, the USA and South Korea.
