ArmInfo. According to the agreement reached with the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic), the OSCE mission conducted a scheduled monitoring of the ceasefire on the border of Artsakh and Azerbaijan on January 16, northeast of Akna.
As the NKR MFA press service reports, from the positions of the Artsakh Republic Defense Army, observation was carried out by field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in- Office (LDPP) Gennady Petrika (Moldova) and Mikhail Olaru (Moldova).
From the opposite side of the border, the observation was carried out by the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, his personal assistant Simon Tiller (Great Britain) and the LDPP office official Martin Schuster (Germany).
Monitoring was carried out in accordance with the planned schedule, however, the Azerbaijani side did not bring the OSCE mission to its forefront.
The observation mission from the Artsakh side was accompanied by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh.
