ArmInfo.Armenia entered the top ten countries in which most Russians go on New Year's holidays. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the study of the Tinkoff group. According to the source, most Russians who go abroad for the New Year holidays are going to go to Germany and Italy.
"About 35% of air travelers go abroad for the New Year holidays," the study notes. Germany became the most popular country for winter holidays. Over 10% of all tourists flying abroad go there, and 8% go to Italy. Also popular are Turkey and Spain. "The top ten includes the Czech Republic, Armenia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Israel," the report says.
Thus, 49.7% of Russian travelers chose Europe, 45.2%-Asia, America - 3.3%, Africa - 1.5%. On New Year's holidays, 0.3% of Russians will go to Australia and Oceania.
