Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, in Bratislava, during a meeting with acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania, Gent Cakaj, congratulated the Albanian side on its chairmanship in the OSCE and reaffirmed Yerevan's support for the priorities of the Albanian chairmanship in the organization.
As the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia reported to ArmInfo the interlocutors exchanged views on issues of interaction within the OSCE, touched upon the challenges facing the Organization and the steps taken to confront them.
Mnatsakanyan spoke about the latest developments in the negotiation process on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, reaffirmed Armenia's priorities in a peaceful settlement, which were previously presented at the OSCE ministry.
In the context of bilateral relations, the Armenian Minister emphasized that Armenia attaches importance to the development of relations with Albania at different levels and formats.
The interlocutors agreed that there is a serious untapped potential in bilateral relations and it is necessary to work jointly to use it. The path to intensifying the political dialogue between Armenia and Albania was outlined.
