Armenian Foreign Ministry strongly condemns ceasefire violation by  Azerbaijan

ArmInfo.The Armenian Foreign Ministry strictly condemns the ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan, as a result of which a soldier of the Artsakh Defense Army, Rafael  Azizyan, born in 1997, was seriously wounded.

The department's statement in particular notes: "The incident with  the sniper shot was not preceded by any aggravation of the situation,  which shows that the Azerbaijani side deliberately attempted to  violate the ceasefire.

Such incidents seriously harm the peace process of settlement, and  contradict the agreements on creating a favorable atmosphere for a  peaceful environment, reached through the mediation of the co-chairs  of the OSCE Minsk Group.

This incident, ahead of the next ministerial meeting under the  auspices of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, further emphasizes  the priority of implementing the agreements reached to strengthen the  ceasefire, including through the introduction of appropriate  mechanisms.

We wish a speedy recovery to the wounded soldier". To recall, the  incident took place on November 29 at around 3:15pm on the defensive  site of one of the military units of the Artsakh Defense Army,  located in the north-east direction
